19 Pepsi Flavors You’ve Probably Never Heard Of

The soda war has been raging for years between Cola and Pepsi, and to win both companies were experimenting with new, unusual flavors. We still don’t have an official winner, but we have to admit that in the category of the most bizarre flavors that appeared and were then swiftly withdrawn from the supermarket shelves, Pepsi has undoubtedly come out on top. Most of these ridiculously flavored Pepsi drinks appeared (lo and behold) in Japan, but to be fair, Russia had its share in this monkey business, as well. So, here’s a toast to that crazy bubbly drink!

1. Ice Cream (Russia)

Pepsi that tastes like vanilla ice cream appeared in Russia, and despite how awesome it sounds, it apparently tasted like shit, because it was soon withdrawn from sale.

2. Pepsi Cappuccino (Russia and Romania)

This Pepsi flavor was probably designed to keep you awake.

3. Pepsi Summer Chill – apple soda (Poland)

4. Pepsi Twist Mojito (Italy)

Heads up: There’s no alcohol!

5. Pepsi Gold – white sapote flavor (Japan, Germany, Finland and Central Europe)

I wonder why this marvelous piss-like drink didn’t pan out.

6. Fire (hot cinnamon) and Ice (cool mint) Pepsi (Guam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines)

7. Pepsi White – yogurt flavored (Japan)

Oh, Japan… Seriously?

8. Azuki Sweet Bean Pepsi (Japan)

9. Pepsi Blue Hawaii – pineapple lemon flavored (Japan)

This sounds pretty good, actually!

10. Pepsi Ice Cucumber

You can serve Pepsi with cucumber flavor as a salad.

11. Pepsi Red – spicy ginger (Japan)

12. Pepsi Shiso (Japan)

13. Pepsi Mont Blanc – based on a French chestnut dessert (Japan)

14. Pepsi Pink – strawberry milk flavor (Japan)

15. Pepsi Holiday – cinnamon (USA and Canada)

16. Pepsi Baobab – monkey bread fruit flavor (Japan)

17. Pepsi Samba – mango and Tamarind (Australia)

This one sounds refreshing, as well.

18. Pepsi Jazz (USA)

Pepsi Jazz came in three flavors – black cherry french vanilla, strawberries and Cream, and caramel cream.

19. And the beloved Crystal Pepsi (USA, Canada, Australia and select parts of Europe

This one had the same flavor as original Pepsi, but was translucent.
