15 Incredible Dust Paintings

It seems that dust can be put to good use with a bit of imagination. Allison Cortson, an artist from Los Angeles, collected dust from her subjects’ homes and used it to create incredible masterpieces. Nowadays, when it seems that there isn’t any other way of creating art left to surprise us; Allison amazed us with her creativity and skills. The artist tries to emphasize the fact that “matter is mostly empty space” that’s why the human subjects are painted in color on the dusty background.

Barbie Through History of Art

Barbie celebrated her fiftieth birthday in 2009 and that inspired the French artist, Jocelyne Grivaud to create a project named “Barbie ma Muse” where Jocelyne recreated some of the most famous works of art with Barbie. This beautiful plastic doll with the most unrealistic body measures often gets bad rap, and tattoo Barbie just made it worse. Well, we decided to present her with more class. Here’s how some of the greatest master pieces from the history of art and some works of modern art and pop culture would look like if the muse was Barbie, instead of some ordinary woman.
